Early stage investigators

Start-up funding

Early career support is provided to talented young investigators within this research group to advance promising projects.

The funds serve as the basis for independent project proposals. The individuals receiving these funds were selected by the external advisory scientific board by means of a specific validation procedure using quality criteria (such as innovation and originality of the proposal; qualification of the applicant; plausibility of the proposal; feasibility; outlook on strengthening clinical -translational research activities; networking potential within the research group).

The supported projects may be embedded in the universities´ respective training programs (e.g., MD/ PhD program; clinician scientist program)
